WELL, This week was crazy!!!!!!!!!
Tracting
So we went tracting again on Saturday, and let me tell you, my companion was a fire!!!!!! We were in the Buenos Aires North mission for the day (don't worry nobody got robbed this time) and we were in a bit more of an urban area. My companion and I were dropped off as usual, with our sack lunches and told to be back in the same place @ 5 o'clock. So we just started walking around and talking with people. We talked to a Lady with four teeth, neither one of us could understand her because she talked really quietly and I swear everytime she opened her mouth a car drove by. But the really funny thing was that she couldn't understand my companion so she would look to me and I would have to translate Gringo spanish into less gringo spanish. That was an amazing experience.
Our second experience is on how fast prayers can be answered. We had been walking around had no luck, so we decided to pray. After our prayer we walked around a corner and saw two people talking, we approached and said hello and my companion turned to them and asked if they would like to hear a lesson and the accepted, IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! we ended up giving them pass along cards and a pamphlet on the plan of salvation.
We had another experience about half way through our time where a member came up to us and we got some powerful words of encouragement in english and spanish (the guy wanted to practice with us). We had asked him if he wanted any help hidding his barbed wire and he said "No you are out here to help others" that hit me pretty hard, because it should me how those who are apart of our church want others to be apart of it so much that they literally want us to stop talking with them and find others.
The final story is that we finally placed a BOOK OF MORMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were finishing up and begining to walked back and we stopped and talked to one family and we were able to teach them and give them a Book of Mormon.
This is going to be my last email for a week and a half because next week we are sent out and miss our P-Day.
Love you all,
Elder Belnap
